About Us
David J. Eilenberger established Eilenberger Rare Books in 2010 and has over twenty years of experience as a bookseller. Before opening his shop, he worked at respected firms in the antiquarian book trade, including Chapel Hill Rare Books, A.B.A.A., and served as a private librarian.
He was born and raised in Pennsylvania and attended Colgate University, where he completed a double concentration in history and philosophy. He has called North Carolina home since 1993 and studied history at the University of North Carolina and Duke University.
In 2019, he was proud to further his rare book education at the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS).
